• A Leading Mining House have an opening for a `hands-on` and a strong management oriented Mining Engineer, with a 1st Class ticket, to join the sociable production team of this sizable Underground operation.

  Working in conjunction with the Underground and Technical Managers and leading a team of Mining Engineers and support staff, it is expected your capabilities will add value to a varied range of capital projects keeping you challenged and professionally invigorated. The preference is for a qualified practical Mining Engineer with at least 8 - 10 years underground experience with some computer planning software skills.

  The role is expected to be a stepping stone to the Underground Managers position initially involved in ongoing development and evaluations, it is expected you will have the insight and experience to take ownership of your individual projects whilst complementing and leading your team as a whole with your resourceful approach to problem solving thus ensuring budgeted tonnages are met and exceeded.
