• If your sense of adventure has been perked to travel and work abroad for the next few years, then this is an opportunity that will combine and easy expat lifestyle with good money and the managment of an established team.

  A background in Mangement is the key here, as is the ability to direct and develop a large team of Geologists from juniors through to seasoned professionals within a wide variety of cultures. We need a degree qualified Geologist with at least 10 years of mining experience, pref in Gold and base Metals and obviously a few years of it being in Resource Management with JORC compliance.

  You would be providing economic evaluation and continual resource of all the company`s exploration assets. Be in liaison with consultants for resource calculations when required and of course be leading and giving guidance to a dynamic team of mine and corporate geologists who will be working with you. There will also be evaluations of projects, compilation and reporting of the group`s resources each year.

  You need to be a strategic business professional who has a deep understanding of current financial/commercial concepts.
  It is also important that you have good computer skills and are up to date with 3D software and relevant evaluation programs.

  The role is FIFO of anywhere in the world, but there is an opportunity to be residential if the family fancies a stint in a 3rd world country.
  We know that this is a tall order to fill but we are confident that there is the right Geologist out there that can give this position life and be part of the driving force that makes this mining house one of Australia`s finest.
